Electromagnetic Fields - Blake Levitt
This book was alright.
I’ve criticized several EMF books for being too short, and this one definitely wasn’t. This is a huge subject and needs a lot of length to explain everything.
The book was quite well written. Most of it was very well explained. I don’t fault it for not being completely clear on everything because it is a very complicated subject, with all the different measurement units and such. It tried and overall did a good job.
It also did a good job of explaining many studies on the subject. It explained the negative and positive findings, the counter arguments, and so on. It was very thorough.
My only real fault in the book is that it got a bit boring midway. The subject can be quite dry, and very repetitive when it is going through a bunch of studies in detail. I don’t know how it could have been made more interesting but, nonetheless, it became a bit of a drag to get through.
Overall it was much better than most EMF books I have read. It is worth your time, especially if you’ve read other books on the subject and still don’t get it. This is a very important subject which most people (even in the health world), do not take seriously at all. So we definitely need more education and this could be a great introduction.
