Garlic & Onions - Margaret Briggs

This book was alright.

Garlic and onions are two of the most famous health foods out there. They have been used since before written history, and this book gives a decent rundown of that history.

The book also summarizes a lot of the researched benefits of these plants, though I do wish it went into more detail about those studies.

I understand the book is meant to be brief and light, but I like details..The second half of the book was filled with recipes, which I do not need, so the useful half was kind of a long pamphlet.

I bought this at a thrift shop so I think it was worth a couple of dollars. But I wouldn’t pay full price because there just isn’t that much here when you take away the recipes.
