I first read this book several years ago and I can say safely that it was one of the most influential books in my life. Adapting the slow philosophy has helped me tremendously.
I think this book and the slow movement in general make a lot of great points and their philosophy has proven very useful in my life. After taking the time to read this manifesto, I have further re-evaluated the speed that I pursue my life.
Everything from food to work to hobbies and relationships are affected by the overall pace our minds are tuned to, and I intend to take this way of thinking more seriously in the future and Slow down.
I recommend this book to everyone, but especially those who are chronically stressed, overworked, or “too busy”.
