Recently there have been many politicians who have flouted the law and blatantly abused their authority.

This is not at all new, and unfortunately there exists a clear dual system of justice in America - one for the common people, and another for the political elite who invariably avoid any punishments for their crimes.

We must understand that our justice system is rotten at the core, and we should not expect those who have imposed tyranny to ever face punishment.

When we call for justice, we are assuming that we have a functioning justice system, and this is simply not the case.

Greenwald is clear and vicious in his denunciation of this unfair system, and I highly recommend this book.
