This book was great!
Omega 3 is definitely one of the most important of the essential nutrients, especially because we need a lot of it.
Unfortunately, in our food supply it is very difficult to get enough omega 3. Omega 3 and 6 are supposed to be consumed at a 1:1 ratio, but we tend to get TEN TO TWENTY times as much omega 6 than 3. This can and does cause catastrophic problems.
This is not controversial. We have qualified health claims from the FDA about O3. Which is why it says on nearly all O3 products “may prevent heart attack, stroke, various thromboses.” And the known benefits exceed those already very important problems.
Notice this book is by an MD. This is mainstream science. This massive problem with our diets must be corrected - through smarter food production, food choices, and supplements.
I highly recommend this book.
