I think this book was kind of over-written. But, with so much nonsense about ‘ley lines’ and made up histories, the detail in this book was appropriate and I appreciate the more sensible hypothesis.
For me the overriding useful point was: Just because it’s labelled “Roman”, does not mean it is.
