The Zeitgeist Movement Defined

I have appreciated the Zeitgeist movement since the first zeitgeist video in 2007. That film probably "woke me up", or started to, more than anything else.

I have also appreciated the work that Peter Joseph and others on the ZM team have put in over the years, expanding on their ideas and explaining them.

Having said that, this is one of the worst books I have ever read. There is nothing about this book that is clear or concise. This is probably the most over-academicized books I've ever seen, and it comes across as nothing but appallingly self-righteous and preachy.

I thought the aim of this book was going to be to communicate the ideas of the ZM, but, it seems more like an exercise in self-flagellation.

I got nothing from this book, except disappointment. TZM has good ideas and bad ideas, but none of it was given a solid focus in this book.

I have no idea who would benefit from this book, and I do not recommend it to anyone.
