Picasso: Creator & Destroyer - Arianna Huffington

I have read many overviews of Picasso's life at this point, and I am confident that Huffington's description is the most appropriate.

Picasso the man cannot be separated from his art. Understanding his art does require understanding him. But I have found many of the writings on him to be nonsensical in regular art books. His character was multi dimensional and it requires the length and context that Huffington has provided.

I highly recommend this book to any fan of Picasso or student of art. And as far as biographies go for their own sake, this one is interesting and dramatic (featuring one of art, and humanity's most interesting characters), and Huffington's writing is excellent.
