This is one of the most important books I know of.

(Rare earths are elements that exist in tiny amounts).

I’ve read it 4 or 5 times over the years and I always find something new. I even get corrected sometimes on health facts because this book has detail that I missed or forgot.

Full disclosure, Wallach is my mentor, leader, and business partner (I published Dr. Wallach’s Cooking Without the Bad Foods with Chef Norman, and Primates: Medical and Surgical Management for Wallach & Boever).

But! I will give honest criticism even to him - I think he goes too deep into history in some of his books, including this one. He doesn’t consider history a controversial subject, but to me and much of my audience it is. I stay away from history if I can, and his books would be fine without any historical deep dives.

This is a massive book (nearly 500 full sized pages), and I think it could have used another thorough edit, but, it remains one of the most valuable books on the public market.

I do highly recommend this book. I consider it mandatory reading in the health business, and for those who are thirsty for more information.
