Several people have recommended this book over the years, but I just got around to reading it.

I had known that infected root canal fillings can be a major source of human problems, but I had no idea about the specifics (how/why), and the magnitude of the problem.

Probably because I don’t have any dental fillings myself, I don’t think about it much. But for years I’ve wondered if oral infections are behind the toughest patient cases we come across.

This book is based on the work of Weston A Price. Most of us know about Price from his monumental work Nutrition and Physical Degeneration - but you probably didn’t know, as I didn’t, that before that project he spent decades researching and experimenting with root canal infections.

This work has been largely buried, but this book unearths both Price’s work and other researchers who continued it.

This book is fairly technical, but I highly recommend it to anyone in any health field, as this can be the cause of misery for some people that nothing else will fix.

If you have had a canal filled, you should also read this. Give a copy to your dentist (though they might not appreciate it).
