Say Good Night to Insomnia - Gregg Jacobs

This book wasn’t very good.

Insomnia can be caused by stress OR nutritional deficiencies, but the author only gave 1 sentence and a few small mentions about nutrition. The rest of the book completely focused on psychology - especially cognitive behavioral therapy, which is very useful but inadequately explained in this book in my opinion.

While the psychological exercises have value, and will probably alleviate insomnia in the cases caused by stress, this is hardly a universal solution.

I don’t understand why so little advice was given about nutrition. The author said it was important but didn’t elaborate at all.

I have to compare this with my current favorite insomnia book (No More Sleepless Nights - Hauri), and it is definitely not as good.

The book was short and I don’t recommend it.
