The Seven Pillars of Health - Don Colbert
I actually agree with this book enough to recommend it.
I have some minor problems with it, such as the detail he goes into outlining the oxidation process of oils, yet he still recommends small amounts of certain oils processed in certain ways, which is very strange because he is very aware of the fire he is playing with.
Other than that, he goes into great depth about many basic yet highly overlooked "pillars" of health, such as hydration, sleep, detoxification, and supplementation with the many essential nutrients now absent from our diets.
I recommend this for people serious about their health, as long as they understand that there are MORE essential nutrients than discussed here. The advice in this book is useful, but ALL of the essential nutrients are required for a solid foundation for which these pillars of health can be built upon.
