Traditional Nutrition - Ben Hirshberg

This book was junk.

I feel completely ripped off.

As soon as I opened it and saw the extremely large font, I knew I had been played (they tell you the page count online, but not the font size, and there aren’t that many pages to start with).

This is not a book, it’s a long blog post. The author basically just read two MUCH better books - Nutrition and Physical Degeneration by Weston Price, and The Blue Zones by Dan Buettner - and summarized them.

The author added absolutely nothing to the topic, has no experience with people or nutrition other than his own curiosity, and in other words has no ability to add anything to the topic unless he did more research.

If you are at all interested in his summary, you’ll have to read those two other books anyway. And if you’ve already read them then this is a complete waste of time.

ZERO out of ten.
