What You Should Know About Trace Minerals - Earl Mindell

This book wasn’t very good.

Mostly, it was just too short.

It covers the well-known trace minerals, but not the others - the lanthanides could have at least been mentioned. I was really hoping for something about them.

Several interesting experiments were mentioned so briefly that it was very frustrating. It’s such a small book, I was begging for some details.

More attention was given to toxic elements than healthy ones, which I found odd.

Finally, there were no references. It is very common for these “lay person” books to leave out references, but I always dock points for it, even if I don’t mention it on the review. In this case the book is presenting data without any indication of where it came from, which makes this book close to useless just to read but then completely useless if I wanted to dive further.

Overall, very disappointing.
